My name is Eric Roussin. I'm a competitive armwrestler from Ottawa, Ontario, Canada who was developed a keen interest in chronicling the history of armwrestling, a sport whose early days have traditionally not been well documented.

I began researching the sport's history in 2010, and have since interviewed or corresponded with over 100 athletes and promoters who have been involved in the sport over the past 60 years. I've also sifted through dozens of muscle magazines, hundreds of newsletters, and thousands of newspaper articles. During this time, I've accumulated a TON of information on the sport, and have gradually tried to organize and disseminate my findings through original articles. These were first posted on a website called the Armwrestling History Channel (now defunct), and subsequently on the Armwrestlers Only website. The Armwrestling Archives will now be the permanent home of all of my articles.
